"Old Timer! Do You Remember When…" This article describes the driving of stock through part of Eureka - from the south they came up Broadway to Clark to Summer to C - to the end of C where the Pacific Coast Steamship Co. (PCSS Co.) had their steamers along the docks. Along the route most of the houses had fenced-in front yards to keep stock out of the yard.
