Text: The Humboldt Golf & Country Club on Humboldt Hill bought the old original Fields Landing water system from Mrs. Jennie M. Field. That system was in use for nearly 50 years. It is fed by nine large springs a short distance north of Fields Landing. The Country Club rebuilt the system to provide 36,000 gallons per day. There are five photos with the article - one of the club house, the water storage tank, the sump where the water is collected, piping, and club members.
