Text: Article on postman William Crowley who worked for the post office for 47 years by delivering mail around Eureka. When he first came to work in 1904, 2nd street was just being paved and beyond 3rd street, only scattered streets were surfaced. Sidewalks were wooden and beyond Wabash street there were only a few scattered houses. The post office was on 2nd street. He lives at 812 B street.
