Text: Good article on the progress of construction the railroad from Fort Seward to Island Mtn. A year ago a 5 mile wagon road was construction from Fort Seward towards Alderpoint. Now a crew is constructing the remaining 5 miles to Alderpoint. The road will provide a way to haul in supplies to the construction camps of the Railroad.
