Place: Pepperwood Sherwood

Text: Interesting article stating the railroad route between Pepperwood and Sherwood needed to be surveyed. Many of the earlier original maps & notes were destroyed in the 1906 fire after the earthquake. A large party of engineers arrived at Alder point yesterday morning to commence resurveying of certain parts of the ronte. Another party is now located near Pepperwood, working south. The present survey calls for some very expansive railroad building.
