Text: "From Gold Bluff" Robert D. Johnston of Upper Gold Bluffs came to Eureka to settle the estate of his brother who drowned at Chapmans beach some time ago. He reported there are many camping parties along the side of Big Lagoon. He further said the only work being done on the beach sands is at Chapmans beach where 4 men are employed packing and washing sands. He noted fishing is excellent in the lagoon and at Maple Creek.
