Text: The Benbow Co. will constr. a $50,000 dam on the S.F. Eel this winter. The dam is to provide power to the Benbow Light and Power Co. which supplies power to Garberville. The dam will also create a new lake about 4 mi long. The old lake was created each year since 1922 and was created by a small dam that was built in 1922. The old dam was removed last week.
