Text: Bids for the bridge over the Eel at Fernbridge are to be opened next month by the B.O.S. Surveyor G.W. Conners submitted 4 sets of plans to the B.O.S. , two for concrete and 2 for steel. The Board also awarded a contract of $4,950 to Robert Staritt and Ira Orcutt to construct 10,125 feet of road from Martins Ferry to Orleans.
