Caltrans will advertise for bids for construction of a 4 lane freeway for 2.9 miles from Plaza Ave in Arcata to one mile south of Mad River and on 299 from 101 to Mad River. Bids also will be advertised for a concrete slab and girder bridge on 101 2 miles north of Arcata.
