The Big 4 will open today. It was built by Mary and Victor Evangelisti, a mile north of Arcata. Dining rm will accom. 125. It's in a grove of RW trees on the site of Camp Curtis. This opening is a gala event. For a number of years they operated the Big 4 Inn at Trinidad. The original proprietor in Trinidad was an employee of the Big Four RR. He insisted the name be perpetuated.
