Text: The Board of Harbor Commissioners received an application from PALCO to construction a wharf at Fields Landing that adjoin the wharves of the ER & Eureka railroad company. The wharf will be 250 feet wide by 1,328 feet long. This wharf will extend to the channel. Where the depth is 17 feet at low water. The PALCO notes they have butt a railroad 7 miles long from (Alton) to a point opposite Eagle Prairie(Scotia?).
