Text: The BOS met yesterday and resolved to instruct John B. Leonard , engineer of San Francisco, to prepare plans & specs for 3 new bridges on the road from Carlotta to Bridgeville. The first bridge is near the old Myers Station above Grizzly Creek. The next is near the old Kay Place 2 miles further upstream. The 3rd bridge is to replace the old wooden covered bridge at Bridgeville. That old bridge was built 45 years ago in 1879. The new concrete one is est. to cost $20,000. The B.O.S. also decided to dispose of 169 acres on Rainbow Ridge which had been deeded to the Board.
