Text: The B.O.S. signed a grant agreement with the federal Civil Aeronautics Admin to set in motion the preliminary steps leading to the constr. of an airstrip at the Rohnerville airport. After clearing title on a wagon trail R/W and a R/W to lay a water pipe, the gov. will pay up to 25% for acquisition and 54.07% for constr. and engineering. Mercer-Fraser was low bidder at $127,643.33. The landing strip will be 3600' long and 150' wide; taxiway-50' wide. Parking approx = 200' x 300'.
