Place: Mad river Elk river Jarnagan's place

Text: About 10 days ago the bridge across Mad river at Ben Jarnagan's place up near Big Band, was carried away by high water. It was built 5 or 6 years ago . The timbers had rotted & it went down almost of its own weight. P.1 col.4 Elk River flooded due to backed up water caused by a log jam at the mouth of the river.
