Text: The Brizard Co. was successful in purchasing the Chicago Bridge and Inn properties on the bay front. A new corporation called the Eureka Terminals Inc. was formed to operate the facilities. Robert W. Matthews was made President of the new corp. The site contains 44 ac. CBI built floating dry docks here during the war. The original owner of the site was Southern Pacific RR co. They sold it to Brizard.
