Text: $1,360,000 budgeted by the Calif Highway Commission for fiscal year July 1, 1948 to June 1, 1950 for 5 projects in Humboldt county. 3.8 miles of 101 will be graded from 1/2 mile south of Stone Lagoon summit to a point one mile south of Orick; 2.8 miles will be surfaced about 10 miles north of Orick; portions of 299 will be graded & oiled from Willow Creek to White's Bar; a bridge & approaches will be built over Campbell Creek on 96 near Orleans. This budget still has to be approved by the legisl. in January 1948.
