Text: The C of C, at the suggestion of J.F. Coonan, appointed a committee of 3, to look into organizing a Good Roads! Convention in Eureka to formulate plans to bond the county for $300,000 or $400,000 to repair the present roads and build new highways. Some of the roads in Southern Humboldt are in great need of repairs. The Overland roads need to be widened. A new state highway is being studied to connect us to the Sac Valley from Trinity.
