Text: The Calif. Highway Commission met at the Eureka Inn last night and discussed remaining improvements to be done to the RW highway. Reps of Hum. Co. said high priority was completion of grading of the "gap" at the south end of Big Lagoon, which involves sev. miles. The next choice was to complete the road from Orick to the Klamath River Br. and north of the bridge to Wilson Crk. The next two choices were for the highway from Arcata to Mad Riv. and from Loleta to Fortuna. The completion of the 25 mile ungraded stretch from Orick to Wilson Crk would open up the last ungraded section of the RW highway.
