Text: Today Calvin Stewart accepted the options on several tracts of tan bark. He expects to begin preliminary work of constructing the proposed wharf above the mouth of the Mattole about May 1. Surveyor Art Logan of Miranda has been busy laying out roads for Mr. Stewart near Petrolia.
