Text: "Choose site for Carnegie Library". A quarter block at the NW corner of 7th & F. Citizens donated $8,125 for purchase of the site for the $20,000 building to be built. Options had been secured on 9 sites. The city council voted to provide $2,000 for maintenance of the library.
