Text: The city of Eureka formally agreed to employ C.C. Kennedy of S.F. as the supervising engr. on the Mad Riv. Dam project. He will be paid 4.5% of the constr. cost of the project. Mayor Frank R. Sweasy est. the total fee to Kennedy -$40,000. Kennedy will supervise the surveys, design and constr. of the water works improvements covered by the loan and grant to the city from the Federal Public Works Admin.
