Text: "Club Opposes Diversion of River Waters" The Fortuna Business Men met yesterday. They discussed the application of Snow Mtn Water & Power Company who wish to divert waters of the Eel to the Railroad. Senator H.C. Nelson and John F. Quinn of Eureka were present. Quinn read a lengthy protest setting forth the contentions and right of the people of Eel River Valley in opposing the applicant. It was unanimously adopted.
