"Concrete Dam To Be constructed At water works" Plans & specs for the concrete dam across Elk River at the water works will be ready to submit to city council at its next meeting by City Engr Hannah. The wooden dam now in use at the water plant is said to be in bad condition and while it will serve its purpose for some time it is thought advisable to construction the new dam before on emergency arises and cuts off the city's water supply.
