The construction of the overheads at 11th & 14th in Arcata, to pass over the proposed Arcata Freeway should begin next spring. With advertisements for bids probably next March. The highway dept. will continue to acquire R/W throughout the winter & summer. Construction of homes & building will be necessary said A.M. Nash, district engineer.
