Text: A contract to clear 7 miles of redwood for the NWP railroad from a point near Dyerville to a point called Fruitland Hill has been completed. The logs are still on the ground and will be hauled out once the tracks have been laid. It took about a year to clear the Redwood. About 20 MBF were fallen. The logs have been sold to Holmes - Eureka Lumber Company.
