Text: Yesterday, Wed, 5/29/1929, the B.O.S. passed a resolution accepting the lease of the lands and premises at Big Lagoon, leased to the County by the Little River Redwood Company for the purposes of subdivision and recreation. It is leased for a period of 10 yrs , the county to pay $1/yr and other valuable considerations. The terms of the lease permit the grounds to be used as a public playground and recreation park. It comprises part of Lot 4 and all of Lots 5 & 6 in section 13 , T9N, R1W. The lease grants a water right on Roundhouse Creek and permits the construction of a golf course, a baseball park and trap shooting grounds.
