Text: Coyote Dam near Ukiah. Ground was broken yesterday for construction of Coyote Dam. Col. John. A. Graf, COE, S.F. District Engineer. Estimated cost = $7,467,750 and should be completed in 3 years. It will be an earthen structure 163' high 3500' long, capable of impounding 122,550 A. F. It is a flood control project and will also provide irrigation water for Mendocino and Sonoma Counties.
