Text: The crew building the railroad from Samoa to the N. Jetty are fighting to stabilize blowing sand that tends to cover the rails. 200 lupine plants have been planted & 300 lbs of seed will be planted. Meanwhile the crew stacked brush on the tops of the moving sand ridges. Experiments with ice plant and Holland grass will also be conducted.
