The current school at 3rd & G is surrounded by the City hall & Jail. A large business building will soon be construction on the opposite corners. It is proposed to sell the lot on which the school stands, leaving a special tax, and use the proceeds to build a new school to accommodate the increase in popul. over the past few years.
