Text: Daby Island was purchased in 1883 by Stillman Dady on a patent from the state. Several months ago the Clay Brown Lumber Company announced the purchase of Woodley Island for industrial purposes. Daby Island, across from T street, will be used Eureka Plywood Company for company operations, as a piling storage ground for log rafts. The island contains 2,083 acres.
