Text: Ann Jackson, blind Indian woman, believed to be 104 years old, died at her cabin at Bucksport beach, at 5:30 PM yesterday. She had been blind the past 40 years. She escaped death during the Indian Island Massacre. Her sister Jennie lived close by in a cabin. She was cared for by Mrs. J.R. Dewing of Eureka.
