Good description of Blue Lake & Scottsville activities & developments. Chandler's Mill at the upper end of the lake obtains logs from the lake . The redwood logs are pulled by 14 oxen to the lake. The Arcata & Mad River railroad is being rapidly extended and extensive works are being built at North Fork.
