Text: At the mouth of the Klamath there is a sand bar covered with tens of thousands of redwoods drifted there by the ocean. In the midst of them he saw a sport where the Indians made their Redwood canoes. There is no white man living at the mouth nor any nearer than 6 miles. There is no regular ferry.
