Text: "Developers Open New $50M Resort Community" Ground was broken on May 27th. Congressman Don Clausen hailed it as a "trend setter" in resort communities. The 4200 acre homesite project is a superb example of "how free enterprise can spearhead developments that are not compatible with federal wildlife lands but also benefit the general community," Clausen said. Over 1/2 the land will remain untouched, except for easements to the beach and open spaces for camping and hiking. The B.O.S deserve a salute for their cooperation.
