Dr. G.N. Drysdale drove a day and a half from Crescent City to Eureka in his Maxwell runabout. He found the road in good condition. He had to spend the night at Hamilton's on the other side of the Klamath River for the first 3-hour leg of the trip. He left Crescent City at 6 a.m.
