Text: Dr. Hyman Polais will present his paper "The History of the Redwood Lumber Industry in Northern CA" at the 42nd annual meeting of the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association. He and Earl Roberts wrote a companion thesis titled " History of the Lumber Industry in Humboldt County". It will appear in the winter number of the Pacific Historical Review.
