Text: The 6.5 mile Dumbarton bridge was recently completed and opened to the public. The portion over the water is 6,306" feet long. On the east side, the approach is 18,560" feet, much of it across salt pounds. The approach from Menlo Pork is 9,550' feet across marshland.
