A barn & house on the 1st piece of diked land leased by the Arcata Land & Improvement company has been completed and is now occupied by Mr. Damgaard. Clover tends to be the 1st freshwater veg. to more in after the salt water is diked off. Harpst & Spring discovered this on their dyked land 2 years ago. The track layers on the Vance RR reached the A & MR Railroad company track at Little Bridge on Tuesday. The pile driver and crew are working in the Tilley field.
