Text: In 1908 Ernest C.(Cliff) Clendenen moved out of Fortuna to a small ranch home on the Sandy Prairie road. It had s a small archard with good fruit trees. For 8 yrs he made & sold eider. In 1916 he bought new equipment & from then on he was in the cider business. He passed it on to his son Andrew. After WWII he come back, married Caroll Roman.
