Text: Ethel's letter of 8/19/1903 describes Stone Lagoon environs. SBF footnote says the Stone Lagoon Hotel was 1/2 mile from the Little Red Hen on the north side of the Lagoon & was owned by Hans Hendrickson (Henry's father) and was operated by the Baxter family. It burned down in the 1920's.
