Text: The Feather River Project is in the early planning stages. It is a state project with a 3,500,000 AF reservoir & is to supply water to parts of Santa Clara & Alameda County, the west side of the San Joaquin Valley & Southern CA all way to San Diego. Gov. Warren noted that the Central Valley Project was originally going to be built by CA- but that project was taken over by the federal gov. during the depression days of the 1930's. Its basic features went into operation this year.
