Place: Ferndale Singley's Ferry

Text: Ferndale is isolated and is without power. The summer cable at Singley's Farry went down the river & a few hours later the winter cable followed suit. Yesterday at 2pm when the Eel peaked, it was over a mile wide at Singley's Ferry reaching from the NWP railroad tracks to the Grant School. 12,000 of railroad trestle at Stitz Creek were lost due to slides caused by the river eroding its bank.
