Text: The first plane to land in the Honeydew area made history. Residents have been agitating for an emergenay air strip in the area. The plane was a Beechcraft Bonanza owned by the Clyde Hall Drilling Company of Bakersfield who are currenting drilling an exploratory well for oil on the West Roscoe ranch.
