Text: The Eel River Delta Flood & Erosion Protection Association has gathered estimates of flood damage to = $175,000 - not counting damage to highways, etc. They abandoned a plan to riprap banks of the river & now adopt a dredging plan to straighten the river and remove the curves ( meanders).
