Eel Pepperwood Stitz creek
Text
From early yesterday morning to late last night the Eel at Pepperwood rose 2'/hour. Much of the flood water was due to melting snow. The river is said to be filled with great Redwood trees. The slide at Stitz Creek is one of the largest in "slide" history. Am immense tract from the mountainside has been moving down into the river, carrying with it, large Redwood trees. The slide has narrowed the river at that point.
