Text: "Forest Fires Controlled" There were many fires raging in Trinity Co., Mendocino Co. and Hum Co. Two new fires broke out in Hum. Co. and Del Norte Co. One in H.C. was a 240 ac fire on Hammond Lum. Co. property above Big Lagoon. The other, in Del Norte Co., is in the Smith River area.
