Text: Rare photo of Fort Humboldt. Ambrotype photo c. 1854-57. On p. 4, col. 2 it states that photos were enclosed with letters written to the father of Mrs. Simpson by the mother of Mrs. Charles M. McCutcheon. Mrs. Harriet St. John Simpson, lived at Fort Humboldt in 1854-57. They had a daughter who's current name is Mrs. Charles McCutcheon. These old photos are on display at the museum.
