In col. 4+5 and on p. 5, col. 4 Will Speegle gives an historical account of early transportation and continues up to 1946 Dec. when United Airlines will inaugurate service to S.F. Will Speegle gives a personal account of the 2 day long travel around 1910. The RR terminated at Elinor. ferry across the Eel, stage ride up the mountain. to and thru Fruitland, Harris, Bell Springs, and down to Cummings; thence stage to Willis where they boarded the train that went to Tiburon or Sausalito. Then steamer to S.F.
