Text: Four photos of the highway north of Eureka. 1) unidentified 2) Highway Above Mad River (Turner Road ?) 3) Turner Road ? 4) "Entering Mckinleyville" The road looks like smooth dirt. Tire tracks aboves. An accompanying article says a rock coat was placed. The highway north of Mad River was widened & gravelled all the way to Mckinleyville. Beyond Mckinleyville 14 trucks are pouring gravel. The new grade up Worth Hill has been gravelled. The rock crusher is at work at Little River Beach. The gravel bars within reach of Little River have been exhausted - so the rock crusher was brought in to supply needed material according to Div. Engr. Somner.
