Text: Frank Longford died. He is the engineer that planned a water power scheme at Ishi Pishi Falls. The Electro Metals Company has taken over the scheme and seeks approval to construct 2 dams downstream of Orleans. This would provide power to a planned plant near Trinidad where processes invented and controlled by Longford for the reduction of ore will be put into operation. He left Humboldt County about 6 years ago.
